The incumbent will be responsible for teaching a weekly course in the Media Studies program entitled Production Design II. This course expands on concepts introduced in Production Design I (i.e., writing and understanding creative briefs; identifying and targeting specific audiences; understanding the role of typography in design; fundamentals of client presentations).In this course students examine the production process, learning the different tools designers use to create final art for a variety of media platforms.
The successful candidate will have a relevant graduate degree. Must have demonstrated teaching ability and an understanding of the learning process, along with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must have minimum five years progressive experience in production design for a variety of media platforms.
