Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Centre of Entrepreneurship (CfE), the Event Coordinator will support the development, coordination, and implementation of CfE events. Primary responsibilities include working closely with the Manager, Centre of Entrepreneurship to develop and deliver events, track metrics and create reports on measurable outcomes for, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and provide administrative support.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess an undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate with a specialization in event management or business administration, or a related field. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in event management is desired. The incumbent will have the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, exhibit initiative, and provide exceptional customer service, and be able to perform both independently and within a team. The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, strong organizational knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills, and advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working within an incubator or college environment. Travel between the Humber North and Lakeshore campuses may be required.
