Program Coordinator, Massage Therapy
In addition to a reduced load of teaching responsibilities, the incumbent will be responsible for coordination of the
day-to-day operation of the program. Responsibilities will include: contribute to student recruitment and selection within the assigned programs; ensuring, using a participatory mode, the selection and development of appropriate learning methodologies; recommending curricula changes/modifications as deemed appropriate by the instructional groups; participating in the work of external program advisory committees; providing advice to management with regard to the staffing of courses and developing and maintaining industry connections to the Massage Therapy program.
The successful candidate will be a full-time Professor from the Massage Therapy program in the School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience; possess well-developed interpersonal communication and problem solving skills; and demonstrated ability in curriculum development and delivery.
Duration: This Coordinator position is a one (1) year term.
