Part-time Professor, Project Management
The incumbent will be responsible for instructing courses within the Project Management Graduate Certificate. Responsibilities include delivery, lesson planning, assignment setting, class management and student project assessments. The successful candidate will be committed to student learning and be comfortable working in a culturally diverse setting.
The successful candidate will each have a Master’s in Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline and must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), along with three years of teaching experience in postsecondary education and relevant industry experience. An in-depth understanding of PMBoK standard and must demonstrate proficiency with current technologies such as project management simulation software and scheduling tools, particularly Microsoft Project. The incumbent will have experience in managing projects in the public or private sector, with demonstrated results and possess strong industry ties. In addition, the incumbent will possess demonstrated initiative, strong written/oral communication skills at a superior level, the ability to work in a diverse, dynamic, multicultural environment, commitment to teamwork, a high degree of attention and focus on detail, and an understanding of the learner centred approach to teaching and learning.
