Position Summary

Working with the Program Coordinator’s initially and then independently for the period when Program Coordinators are away on summer holiday, the Student Support Advisor works with students in diploma programs to maximize student success. Specific responsibilities include: communicating and meeting with students regarding issues with their program; including registration issues; providing information regarding student support services; advising on college policies, and liaising with professors and other departments as needed.


The successful candidate will possess a 2-year diploma or degree in a field related to a business discipline. In addition, the incumbent will possess excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, organizational, teamwork, assessment, and planning skills. Knowledge of Humber College will be considered an asset. We are unable to consider applicants who have been enrolled as a student at Humber within the last two years.
