Program Coordinator, Paramedic and Advanced Care Paramedic
In addition to a reduced load of teaching responsibilities, the incumbent will be responsible for coordination of the day-to-day operation of the program. Responsibilities will include: ensuring continued growth and development of existing programs as assigned; ensuring, using a participatory mode, the selection and development of appropriate learning methodologies; recommending curricula changes/modifications as deemed appropriate by the instructional groups; participating in the work of external program advisory committees; providing advice to management with regard to the staffing of courses and developing and maintaining industry connections to the Paramedic and Advanced Care Paramedic programs.
The successful candidate will be a full-time Professor in the Paramedic program, with a minimum of two years of teaching experience; possess well-developed interpersonal communication and problem solving skills; and demonstrated ability in curriculum development and delivery. The incumbent will hold a graduate credential (PhD preferred in paramedicine with at least 5 years of professional experience in the field.
Duration: This Coordinator position is a three (3) year term.
