Position Summary

Under the direction of the Placement Manager, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive and confidential and administrative services in a high energy environment. The incumbent will be responsible for: collecting, recording, filing, and reporting on and maintaining a database of student work placements; employer and student correspondence, etc.; following-up with student and academic records; helping to manage the employer recruiting portal; posting job postings and coordinate opportunities and resumes with employers; assisting with Social Media management and Marketing initiatives; managing list serve/ blackboard for placement courses; assisting with the placement analysis for advisory committee meetings; maintaining inventory levels and place orders for office supplies. Any additional duties as assigned. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the organization, execution and analysis of career fairs/networking events.


The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a two year diploma in Business Administration or related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of progressive clerical and administrative experience is required. The incumbent will have excellent computer skills particularly MS word, PowerPoint and Excel. Additional qualification include: superior customer service skills; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong multitasking skills, combined with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously; proven organizational and problem solving skills; ability to maintain confidentiality while performing as a strong team member; the ability to assess procedures, systems and approaches; and provide constructive suggestions for improvement. Experience in a postsecondary institute with knowledge of school programs, College policies, procedures, and organizational structure would be considered an asset.
