Part-time Professor, Project Management
The incumbent will be responsible for instructing courses within the Project Management Graduate Certificate. Responsibilities include delivery, lesson planning, assignment setting, class management and student project assessments. The successful candidate will be committed to student learning and be comfortable working in a culturally diverse setting.
The successful candidate will have a Masters in Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline and must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), along with previous teaching experience in postsecondary education and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. An in-depth understanding of PMBoK knowledge, awareness of other project management frameworks, as well as significant experience in managing projects in public/private sector, is required. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong industry ties, be affiliated with professional associations and proficient with current technologies/trends in project management; as well as have demonstrated initiative, strong written/oral communication skills, the ability to work in a diverse environment, teamwork, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of the learner centred approach.
