Title: STOP / LOOK
Date: February 2008
Synopsis: A 52 minute play presented by Humber Theatre in association with the Humber Diversity Committee (HDC) -- How do we perceive one another in our diverse urban culture? Set on a busy city intersection, people are rushing past each other, caught in the traffic of their own lives, assumptions, prejudices and racism. Gradually, the masks come off and people are revealed in all of their pain, conflict and commonality.
It is about the complexities of identities, diversity, discrimination and marginalization. A useful tool to open up a dialogue on these topics and how we can enhance inclusion.
Watch the Video: DVDs of the play are also available on reserve at the library on both campuses.
