Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Taskforce

"Humber College has identified Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) as intentional imperatives for the College. While the College already has a robust EDI program, it recognizes the need to expand, deepen and integrate its breadth throughout Humber. Please join us on this journey of inclusive excellence."
-Nancy Simms, Former Director, Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion

In the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, the Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning has identified as its Strategic Priority #7 to continue to build a diverse and inclusive community of exceptional students, faculty and staff. This priority is listed under Strategic Pillar #3 – Healthy and Inclusive Community.

Humber has convened members of the College and community to join an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Taskforce that works alongside the Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion to establish an institutional framework and strategy for equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
